It had been a long while since I had been into a smaller and more personal hardware store like this, since I live right by two much larger competitors and this store is farther away. However, it was such a good experience, even though I was there for something quick, that I'll be going here first in the future and only to the two big box stores after I try Barney's first.

The store “Barney’s True Value” is well known to provide great services to the community. On October 11 and 13 of 2022 while we urgently needed to shop for parts in order to fix our decades-old frost-free faucets at the store, the shop manager Andy and the associates helped us so knowledgeably with much time and effort. Our tremendous appreciation to Andy and his coworkers.

Really a super experience at Barney’s. Reminds me of an old time full-service hardware store. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable…and pleasant. And they have a repair shop!!!!!!! The repair shop will knock your socks off!!!!!

I moved to the area two years ago and shop here whenever I can. Sure, sometimes you have to go to Lowes or Home Depot, but I'm always delighted whenever I can manage stopping by Barney's. They are so helpful and knowledgeable and the store is always very well-stocked. They are a pillar in our community.

Small town feel & service with GREAT selection. Buying supplies for a project & forgot to get 1 item. I felt it was too inexpensive to justify another plastic purchase & was a little short on actual cash. Male behind register started to get change out of his own pocket as offer of assistance. That is real service! That is the sort of service that is omnipresent in this store!

My griddle was kindly delivered. I had a followup question and Phil patiently did some troubleshooting with me. He even offered to come do a followup after his shift. Great customer service!

All the employees there are very helpful. They always take the time thats needed to make sure you get exactly what you need and been helpful with getting the gas lines and everything taken care of my trailer would highly recommend

I went in last week for some plumbing help. The owner walked me aisle to aisle and literally assembled everything I needed to make it work based on a picture I showed him. The setup he put together fit perfectly. They are always so helpful here.

I love this place. Everything you need from lamp repair to furnace filters to key fobs to toilets to batteries, light bulbs, ladders (16 ft extender for either $189 or $169, just awesome. And the people that work there are so helpful and polite. And, they r privately owned, nor a big conglomerate. Go see them!!!
